Rental-income stress test

See how repair duration, continuing expenses and reimbursements affect cash reserves.

Educational planning only. Examples are hypothetical; they are not market rates, quotes, coverage decisions or guaranteed returns. Inputs remain in this browser session and are not placed in URLs or analytics.

Enter your own figures, or load the labeled example. No financial inputs are sent to a server or stored in the URL.

Scenario inputs
Already exclude expenses that stop. Include debt service once.
Enter zero unless modeling an explicitly selected reimbursement.

Your scenario

Results appear after you enter valid values and calculate. Blank inputs are not treated as known zero costs.

Method and interpretation

Track continuing cash expenses plus one-time repair costs, less reimbursements received, by month. Reserve need is the peak cumulative outflow. Unavailable gross rent is shown separately to avoid double counting.

Calculations retain precision until display rounding. Blank required values block calculation. A negative cash flow or profit is a valid scenario, while an undefined return ratio is shown as not calculated.
